I am a licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). I received my Bachelors in Psychology and my Masters in Social Work, both from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA).

I am currently working towards my LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) under the supervision of Tiffany Flores, LCSW-S.

I see clients ranging from children (ages 5-12), adolescents (ages 13-18) to adults (ages 19+). I provide individual, family and small group counseling. I take an eclectic, holistic approach to counseling that draws influence from a broad range of models and theories. Some examples are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Client Centered therapy and Motivational Interviewing.

I played college basketball at UTA, worked as a counselor, served as the Program Director for a domestic violence shelter and I am currently a full time Firefighter. My background is broad and full of unique experiences. Those experiences have allowed me to gain different views of the world, appreciate meeting my clients exactly where they are, listen and build the crucial rapport necessary to appreciate the journey of mental/emotional health and growth.

I believe my approach to counseling is very straightforward. Everyone is a unique individual so I believe that their counseling experience should be unique and individualized for them as well. Together, we will build a game plan specifically for you to help you navigate life, whatever it may be throwing at you.

Let’s talk about it!
