Clayton Morrow, LPC

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and certified as a Registered Art Therapist (ATR). He graduated with a Master of Arts in Art Therapy/Counseling from Southwestern College in 2015. I earned my Bachelors in Fine Art from the University of North Texas with a minor in psychology in 2008. 

 

I have worked in various settings that include academic, counseling centers, day habilitation centers, adult recovery centers, inpatient facility/outpatient programing and children centered agencies. I have played an integral part with recovery and counseling to clients with multiple diagnoses such as: Dual diagnosis, Depression, Anxiety, Disruptive behavior disorders (children/teens), Substance abuse, Schizophrenia, Autism, and Intellectual developmental disorders.

 

I have also had the privilege of assisting clients with various relational stressors due to life changing events or work-related problems. I have experience in individual counseling, group therapy and case management. I meet my clients where they are with an emphasis on person-centered therapy that is also solution focused and utilizes art therapy as another means to get deeper into self-discovery and building self-esteem.
